OMFS or Endo?
I'm a current D4 and planning on going into GPR/private practice for next year. However, I am torn between my decision regarding the choice of specialty afterwards. I was originally fascinated by OMFS but I felt that the field is not really welcoming to women, and I switched gears to pursue endo possibly (which I also liked), but now I feel that my heart is still with surgery as I love the medical aspect of what we do, and I tend to be more aggressive than detail oriented. I am afraid of not... OMFS or Endo? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Optometry schools and student diversity
Hi! I stopped using SDN since I'm now in optometry school, but I am back to make this one post here. Can we get some black men (and women, but mostly calling men right now) to apply and attend NOVA College of Optometry? The second year students only have about 3-4 black women and no black male. The first year students have 6 black women and no black males. South Florida is very diverse, it's considered the Gateway to Latin America. 19.2% of Miami population is Black, 15.5% of Florida's... Job opportunities? Or death trap
As a brand new grad with 130k loans graduating in a pandemic would it be stupid to accept a job opportunity from an attending who is possibly hitting on you? Nothing aggressive or overly forward just politely letting you know '"I like you" which is still inappropriate to a student from an attending. But with the job market being what it is, is this ok? If maybe not for a job but a learning opportunity in a group with other students? He said he could bring me in with the group on my own... Job opportunities?
