Non-Traditional Student MESSY TRANSCRIPTS
I am a non-traditional Biological Sciences student at a California State University hoping to attend MD school or DO school. My academic journey has been very sporadic, with no real consistency until recently. I have failed courses and withdrawn from courses and left universities. Here are some of the key aspects of my current life and academic experiences.
I left university at the end of my second year in 2015 in poor academic standing.
I returned to a local community college in the...

Early 30's - 3.1 cGPA - Canadian Applicant - Considering Postbacc for MD Schools
Background: I studied science in a canadian university out of high school, ran into some difficulties in my program for my first 3 semesters (diffculties were financial, but also maturity).
By definition I come from a disadvantaged economic background and finances were always the greatest constraint and worry as I attended universities in Canada with high costs of living in my region (national student aid in Canada is not always guanateed to cover even basic costs at times depending how it...

WAMC c/o 2027
Hello! I am a 21 y/o Texas resident, and this will be my first time applying. I decided to apply only to my two instate schools this cycle- Texas A&M and Texas Tech. I need an extra semester to graduate from undergrad, and I would only leave my degree incomplete to go to an instate school (I am about 7 credits behind as a result of transferring universities). If this cycle doesn't work out, I will then apply to out-of-state schools next round.
cGPA: 3.83
Science GPA: 3.76...
