Characteristics and Predictors of Apparent Treatment Resistant Hypertension in Real-World Populations Using Electronic Health Record-Based Data
CONCLUSIONS: In two large, diverse real-world populations, we observed similar comorbidities and predictors of aTRH as prior studies. ANGPTL3 Deficiency and Risk of Hepatic Steatosis
CONCLUSIONS: ANGPTL3 deficiency related to LoF mutations in ANGPTL3, as well as genetically determined reduction of plasma ANGPTL3 levels, is not associated with hepatic steatosis. Endothelial activation and fibrotic changes are impeded by laminar flow-induced CHK1-SENP2 activity through mechanisms distinct from endothelial-to-mesenchymal cell transition
In this study, we have revealed a novel mechanism underlying the suppressive effects of L-flow on EC inflammation, migration, proliferation, apoptosis, and fibrotic changes through promoting CHK1-induced SENP2 S344 phosphorylation.
