The Impact of Complete Revascularization in Symptomatic Severe Left Ventricular Dysfunction between Coronary Artery Bypass Graft and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
CONCLUSIONS: In patients with symptomatic (NYHA class ≥ 3) severe LV dysfunction and CAD, CABG brought less HF admission when compared to patients in the PCI group, but this did not differ when compared to the complete revascularization subgroup. Dyslipidemia Increases the Risk of Incident Hypertension in a Large Taiwanese Population Follow-Up Study
In this study, we investigated correlations between lipid profiles, including triglycerides, total cholesterol (Chol), high-and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C/LDL-C), and Chol/HDL-C, and baseline and incident hypertension. A total of 26,965 subjects with 4 years of follow-up data were enrolled from the Taiwan Biobank. The Role of Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring in Current Clinical Practice
Hypertension continues to be the leading modifiable risk factor for stroke, kidney disease and cardiovascular disease, and it also plays a key role in a significant proportion of preventable deaths globally. Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) is an underutilised tool that augments the accurate diagnosis of hypertension. Out-of-office blood pressure measurements such as ABPM, permits the diagnosis of white coat hypertension and masked hypertension as well as determining a patient ’s nocturnal dipping status.

Sex Difference in the Associations among Obesity-Related Indices with Incident Hypertension in a Large Taiwanese Population Follow-Up Study
In conclusion, the studied obesity-related indices were found to be predictors of incident hypertension, and there were differences in the associations between the male and female participants. Impaired renal function and mortalities in acute heart failure with different phenotypes
ConclusionsOn-admission IRF was independently predictive of long-term mortality in patients hospitalized for HF, irrespective of HF phenotypes. Furthermore, IRF was also associated with short-term mortality in HFrEF and HFmrEF, but not in HFpEF.

Association Between Intensity of Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol Reduction With Statin-Based Therapies and Secondary Stroke Prevention: A Meta-analysis of Randomized Clinical Trials
