Telerehab at Home: Mobile Tablet Technology for Patients With Poststroke Communication Deficits-A Pilot Feasibility Randomized Control Trial
CONCLUSIONS: SLT using telerehabilitation via mobile technology is feasible in the very early stages of acute stroke recovery. It is potentially an effective means of bridging the gap between discharge from the acute care setting to the start of outpatient SLT services. Our study supported proceeding to a clinical trial to assess efficacy of the intervention.SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL: https://doi.org/10.23641/asha.21844569.PMID:36634230 | DOI:10.1044/2022_JSLHR-21-00616

Three-Dimensional Speech Profiles in Stroke Aphasia and Apraxia of Speech
CONCLUSIONS: The results suggest that the current AOS-APP dichotomy has limited validity. We conclude that a continuous multidimensional view of speech variation would be a constructive perspective from which to understand how the left cerebral hemisphere produces speech and that quantitative and normed speech measures should be used to inform differential diagnosis in clinical settings.SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL: https://doi.org/10.23641/asha.21807609.PMID:36603554 | DOI:10.1044/2022_AJSLP-22-00170
