The virtual family conference in stroke rehabilitation: Education, preparation, and transition planning
CONCLUSIONS: The virtual family conference intervention demonstrated efficacy in facilitating carer education and preparation, along with discharge planning prior to community transition from stroke rehabilitation. CONCLUSIONS: Post-stroke rehabilitation decision making in Queensland, Australia involves complex processes and compromise. Decisions are not based solely on patients' rehabilitation needs, and patients and families are not actively involved in the decision-making process. Reimagining Stroke Rehabilitation and Recovery Across the Care Continuum: Results from a Design-Thinking Workshop to Identify Challenges and Propose Solutions
Systems for stroke rehabilitation and recovery are variable and fragmented; stroke survivors often experience gaps in care with detrimental effects on their recovery. We designed and hosted a multidisciplinary and interactive workshop to discuss challenges facing patients recovering from stroke and brainstorm solutions.Forty one participants including clinicians, researchers, and stroke survivors attended the workshop. Participants were surveyed beforehand about challenges facing stroke recovery and results were tabulated as a word cloud.

Systematic review of guidelines to identify recommendations for upper limb robotic rehabilitation after stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: This systematic review has identified many opportunities to modernize and otherwise improve stroke patients' upper limb robotic therapy. Rehabilitation assisted by robot or electromechanical devices for stroke needs to be improved in clinical practice guidelines in particular in terms of applicability. The effect of additional neuromuscular electrical stimulation applied to erector spinae muscles on functional capacity, balance and mobility in post stroke patients.
