Incidental 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT Uptake in Hemorrhagic Transformation of Stroke in a Patient With Cervical Paraganglioma
We present a case of a 75-year-old woman with clinical suspicion of stroke whose cranial CT showed ischemic changes in right precentral region, without visible vascular occlusion, and a right vagal lesion suggestive of paraganglioma. Two weeks later, 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT with IV iodine-based contrast administration (Biograph 6 True Point equipment; Siemens) was performed for characterization of this lesion and staging. Intraparenchymal 68Ga-DOTATOC uptake was visualized in right frontal lobe suggestive of hemorrhagic transformation of the previous stroke.

Unilateral Absence of the Basal Ganglia on 123I-Ioflupane DaTScan
This 33-year-old man presented with hemorrhagic stroke manifesting with left hemiparesis and right ptosis. Angiography revealed no patent carotids. The anterior and middle cerebral arteries were filling collaterally through the posterior vertebrobasilar pathway. The presumptive diagnosis was moyamoya disease. Conclusion: This case illustrates the value of F-18 FDG PET/CT in the diagnosis of and localization of a periaortic valve abscess in a patient with multiple valve replacements, recurrent fevers/sepsis and inconclusive imaging with transthoracic echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram and Indium-111 WBC scan. Reliability of magnetic susceptibility weighted imaging in detection of cerebral microbleeds in stroke patients
Conclusion SWI is an important reliable technique allows accurate detection of CMBs occurring in association with hemorrhage in acute and chronic stroke and should be included in the protocols for assessment of stroke to help in choice of proper treatment and prediction of future attacks.

Causal role of non-stenotic hypodense plaques with high FDG uptake detected with PET-CT angiography in patients with unknown cause of stroke?
Conclusions In this exploratory study, we found a high prevalence of non-stenotic hypodense plaques with high FDG uptake (TBR max. > 1.80) in carotid arteries ipsilateral to cerebral ischemia suggesting a causal role for these plaque in patients with unknown cause of stroke. In comparison to high-resolution MRI, the imaging criteria used in this study for the identification of complicated plaques were very simple and easy to implement. The role of copeptin in patients with subarachnoid haemorrage.
CONCLUSION: Patients with a gradual increase of copeptin values showed to have bad prognosis of the disease. Four with extremely high copeptin values passed away, while patients with a gradual decrease or a normal amount of copeptin values had good prognosis.
