Short-term DAPT after coronary stenting has similar ischemic and bleeding outcomes as long-term DAPT: a 5-year population-based cohort study
ConclusionThere is no significant difference in both bleeding and ischemic outcomes in long-term DAPT as compared to short-term DAPT for first- and second-generation drug-eluting stents in a real-world population.

Implications of left atrial volume index in patients with three-vessel coronary disease: A 6.6-year follow-up cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: LAVI is a potential index for risk stratification and therapeutic decision-making in patients with three-vessel coronary disease. CABG is associated with improved long-term outcomes compared with MT alone, regardless of LAVI quartiles. When LAVI is severely elevated, PCI is associated with higher risk of cardiac death than CABG.PMID:37262047 | DOI:10.1097/CM9.0000000000002723

Residual coronary artery tree description and lesion EvaluaTion (CatLet) score, clinical variables, and their associations with outcome predictions in patients with acute myocardial infarction
CONCLUSION: The rCatLet score has a predicting value for clinical outcomes for AMI patients and the incorporation of the three CVs into the rCatLet score will enhance its predicting ability.TRIAL REGISTRATION: http://www.chictr.org.cn, ChiCTR-POC-17013536.PMID:37052135 | DOI:10.1097/CM9.0000000000002640

Safety and efficacy of early varenicline prescription in hospitalized patients with acute myocardial infarction: East Asian population
CONCLUSION: This study may represent the first report on the safety and efficacy of early initiation of varenicline treatment in East Asian population hospitalized due to AMI who recently underwent percutaneous coronary intervention.PMID:37002175 | DOI:10.1016/j.jfma.2023.03.016

Development and validation of dynamic models to predict postdischarge mortality risk in patients with acute myocardial infarction: results from China Acute Myocardial Infarction Registry
Conclusions We established dynamic risk prediction models incorporating adverse event and medications. The nomograms may be useful instruments to help prospective risk assessment and management of AMI. Trial registration number NCT01874691.

The Prognostic Value of Cardiovascular Risk Factors and Laboratory Biomarkers in Predicting 6-Month Outcomes in High-risk Patients with Non-ST Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction
CONCLUSIONS: LogₑBNP is an independent predictor of worse prognosis in patients with NSTEMI. Routine evaluation of BNP levels should be considered in patients admitted with NSTEMI.PMID:36946667
