COVID-19 Associated Stroke-A Single Centre Experience
CONCLUSIONS: We had a 1.6% incidence of COVID-19 related stroke of which the majority were carotid territory infarcts. In-hospital mortality was 55.17%, predicted by low GCS at admission.PMID:34472782

Prevalence of Aortic Plaques in Cryptogenic Ischemic Stroke: Correlation to Vascular Risk Factors and Future Events
Conclusions: Aortic plaques are an under-recognized cause of cryptogenic stroke. The significant risk factors in aortic plaque group highlight the importance of aggressive risk factor control for secondary stroke prevention.

Mechanical Thrombectomy in Acute Ischemic Stroke: Angiographic Predictors of Outcome
Conclusion: Lower clot burden and less degree of recanalization were associated with poor outcome in acute ischemic stroke due to Large vessel occlusion (LVO). The presence of ICAD also predicted poor outcome.

Endovascular Treatment for Acute Tandem Occlusion Stroke: Results from Case Series of 17 Patients
Conclusion: Our study determined a promising outcome with reasonable good recanalization and clinical recovery for endovascular intervention in tandem ischemic. In the subgroup of treatment, “extracranial stent first” had more complex disease with completed ICA occlusion which required longer procedure time may lead to worse outcome.
