Asymptomatic Carotid Stenosis Is Associated With Circadian and Other Variability in Embolus Detection
Conclusions: Embolism associated with asymptomatic carotid stenosis shows circadian variation with highest rates 4–6 h before midday. This corresponds with peak circadian incidence of stroke and other vascular complications. These and ASED Study results show that monitoring frequency, duration, and time of day are important in ES detection. Ministernotomy for Aortic Valve Replacement Versus Conventional Sternotomy, a Choice for a Better outcome
Conclusion​ Ministernotomy Aortic valve replacement was found to be a safe procedure​ compared to full sternotomy approach. Patients who had their surgery through the mini approach had less amount of blood loss, blood transfusion requirements, ventilation time which all led to less duration of ICU and hos pital stay, resulting in a better outcome for the .patients
