How To Avoid China ’ s Medicine Monopoly
I want to share a shocking statistic with you… Around 80% of all the pharmaceuticals sold in America — both prescription and over-the-counter — are manufactured in China. I’m talking about drugs for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, blood pressure and blood thinners, diuretics, aspirin, antibiotics, and a big chunk of the world’s insulin and diabetes drugs — just to name a few.1 We don’t even make penicillin anymore. The last penicillin plant in the U.S. closed its doors in 2004. Americans who rely on medicine are now almost entirely at the mercy of a country whose relations with the U.S. have become more ...

Pollutants In Your Salt!?
Your doctor, the media, and the medical establishment continue to warn that flavoring your food with salt will kill you. They link sodium consumption to a higher risk of high blood pressure, stroke – and of course, heart disease. Gualou Guizhi Decoction Improves Glucose Metabolism and Alleviates Microglia-Associated Inflammation after Cerebral Ischemia
CONCLUSION: GL enhanced the uptake and utilization of glucose in neural cells after CI/R. It exerted significant anti-inflammatory effects by regulating the polarization of microglia. These results provided further evidence supporting the clinical application of GL in the treatment of cerebral ischemic stroke.PMID:36317102 | PMC:PMC9617704 | DOI:10.1155/2022/9438250

Roots of < em > Astragalus propinquus < /em > Schischkin Regulate Transmembrane Iron Transport and Ferroptosis to Improve Cerebral Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury
CONCLUSION: RAP stimulation inhibited ferroptosis by regulating the expression of the key ferroptosis factors XCT, SLC3A2, GPX4, NRF2, HO-1, and IREB2. In conclusion, RAP regulates transmembrane iron transport and ferroptosis to improve CIRI.PMID:35958925 | PMC:PMC9363172 | DOI:10.1155/2022/7410865

Cardioversion of Atrial Fibrillation with Acupuncture
Conclusions: Acupuncture appears to be solely responsible for the conversion of atrial fibrillation to sinus rhythm in this case, as no β-blockers, calcium channel blockers, or antiarrhythmic medicines were administered before the return to sinus rhythm. The antiarrhythmic effect noted may be from centrally mediated autonomic effects or additional mechanisms. Further study will help to define the role of acupuncture in the management of acute arrhythmias.PMID:34239665 | PMC:PMC8236297 | DOI:10.1089/acu.2021.0022
