Connectomic insight into unique stroke patient recovery after rTMS treatment
This study demonstrates for the first time the feasibility of using individualized connectivity analyses in differentiating unique phenotypes in rTMS treatment responses and recovery. This personalized connectomic approach may be utilized in the future to better understand patient recovery trajectories with neuromodulatory treatment.

Syncope Evaluation: Evidence-Based and Economical
This study eliminated low-risk syncope patients and those with non-syncope transient loss of consciousness, such as seizure and head trauma, using a structured approach in the emergency department (ED), with only high-risk syncope patients being admitted. These high-risk syncope patients made up 28% of the patients included in the study. After admission, a simplified Wells’ pulmonary embolism criteria score was calculated, and a D-dimer was obtained. Serum alkaline phosphatase was independently associated with depression in patients with cerebrovascular disease
ConclusionHb, hs-CRP, ChE, ALP, and HDL-C concentrations are potential blood markers of depression in CVD patients and, when combined, may improve diagnostic performance for VDe. Serum ALP was independently associated with VDe in patients with CVD.

Acupuncture Alters Brain's Dynamic Functional Network Connectivity in Stroke Patients with Motor Dysfunction: A Randomised Controlled Neuroimaging Trial
CONCLUSIONS: Acupuncture has the potential to modulate abnormal temporal properties and promote the balance of separation and integration of brain function. True acupoint stimulation may have a more positive effect on regulating the brain's dynamic function. Clinical Trial Registration.
