Conclusion In summary, SSS extraction significantly ameliorates cerebral energy metabolism via boosting citrate cycle, which mainly embodies the enhancements of blood glucose concentration, glucose and lactate transportation and glucose utilization, as well as the regulations of relative enzymes activities in citrate cycle. These ameliorations ultimately resulted in numerous ATP yield after stroke, which improved neurological function and infarcted volume. What stroke image do we want? European survey on acute stroke imaging and revascularisation treatment
ConclusionThe diagnostic workup and, to a greater extent, the revascularisation treatments of typical stroke patients vary considerably across European countries. This study reinforces the need to compare the quality of stroke care in terms of process and outcomes between countries. Research is also needed to investigate the cost-effectiveness of second-line imaging strategies in acute stroke care.

Accuracy of automated intracerebral hemorrhage volume measurement on non-contrast computed tomography: a Swedish Stroke Register cohort study
ConclusionOur study showed excellent agreement in volume quantification between the fully automated software qER –NCCT and manual segmentation of ICH on NCCT. The qER–NCCT would be an important additive tool by aiding in early diagnostics and prognostication for patients with ICH and in provide volumetry on a population-wide level. Further refinement of the software should address the underestimation of IC H volume seen in a portion of large, heterogenous, irregularly shaped ICHs.
