Discovering Key Topics in Emergency Medical Dispatch from Free Text Dispatcher Observations
The objective of this work was to discover key topics latent in free text dispatcher observations registered during emergency medical calls. We used a total of 1374931 independent retrospective cases from the Valencian emergency medical dispatch service in Spain, from 2014 to 2019. Text fields were preprocessed to reduce vocabulary size and filter noise, removing accent and punctuation marks, along with uninformative and infrequent words. Long-term secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease with a Mediterranean diet and a low-fat diet (CORDIOPREV): a randomised controlled trial
This study is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT00924937.FINDINGS: From Oct 1, 2009, to Feb 28, 2012, a total of 1002 patients were enrolled, 500 (49·9%) in the low-fat diet group and 502 (50·1%) in the Mediterranean diet group. The mean age was 59·5 years (SD 8·7) and 827 (82·5%) of 1002 patients were men. Effectiveness of Intensively Applied Mirror Therapy in Older Patients with Post-Stroke Hemiplegia: A Preliminary Trial
Conclusion: Intensive MT appears to be more effective than a more spaced over time therapy; therefore, at least in the older adults, this treatment protocol should be recommended in the post-stroke recovery of these patients.
