Mechanism of Gynostemmae Pentaphylli Herba in the treatment of ischemic stroke based on network pharmacology and molecular docking
CONCLUSIONS: Gynostemmae Pentaphylli Herba may play a role in treating ischemic stroke by affecting various pathways through its active ingredients such as Ruvoside_qt, quercetin, 3'-methyleriodictyol, Spinasterol and CLR.PMID:37434834 | PMC:PMC10331645

Predictors of favorable outcome and mortality after endovascular thrombectomy in young Chinese patients with large vascular occlusions
ConclusionThis study demonstrate that EVT provides higher rates of arterial recanalization, rather than better favorable outcomes and lower risk of death at 3 months in young Chinese patients with AIS-LVO. Increased NIHSS scores on admission may be associated with poor patient prognosis.

Impact of body mass index on efficacy and safety of ticagrelor versus clopidogrel in patients with minor stroke or transient ischemic attack
CMAJ. 2023 Jul 10;195(26):E897-E904. doi: 10.1503/cmaj.230262.ABSTRACTBACKGROUND: Body mass index (BMI) may affect the response to platelet P2Y12 receptor inhibitors. We aimed to explore whether BMI influenced the efficacy and safety of ticagrelor and clopidogrel for secondary prevention of minor ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) among patients enrolled in the CHANCE-2 (Ticagrelor or Clopidogrel with Aspirin in High-Risk Patients with Acute Nondisabling Cerebrovascular Events II) trial.METHODS: In a multicentre, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, conducted in China, we randomized patients ...
