Stroke Epidemiology and Incidence in Regional Queensland: Findings of the Regional Queensland Stroke (REQUEST) Study
CONCLUSIONS: Incidence of stroke in a regional Queensland population is similar to other regional populations and when compared with larger cities. Despite a global trend in stroke reduction, modifiable risk factors like hypertension and atrial arrhythmias continue to be over-represented in the stroke population. Clinical features, sex differences and outcomes of myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary arteries: a registry analysis
Conclusion The incidence of MINOCA was 9.5%. Compared to OACD-MI, patients with MINOCA have less cardiac risk factors. In-hospital outcomes of patients diagnosed with MINOCA were better than OACD-MI.

Between January 2011 and July 2015, patients with non-valvular AF (NVAF) admitted to the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania, Australia, were retrospectively reviewed.
