Endovascular mechanical thrombectomy for cerebral venous sinus thrombosis: a systematic review
Conclusions EMT is an effective salvage therapy for refractory CVST, with a reasonable safety profile. Chemical thrombolysis, in conjunction with EMT, did not appear to result in additional harm or benefit. Further analysis is warranted to determine predictors of success after EMT for CVST.

Association of clot burden score with radiographic and clinical outcomes following Solitaire stent retriever thrombectomy: analysis of the SWIFT PRIME trial
Conclusions The combination of IV thrombolysis and stent retriever thrombectomy with the Solitaire device is highly effective in achieving successful recanalization and a good clinical outcome throughout the entire range of CBS values.

Impact of thrombus length on recanalization and clinical outcome following mechanical thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke
Conclusions In this study, thrombus length had no relevant impact on recanalization, neurological outcome, or intraprocedural complications following mechanical thrombectomy of middle cerebral artery occlusions. Therefore, mechanical thrombectomy with stent retrievers can be attempted with large clots.

Conclusions P2Y12 hyporesponse (PRU>200) is not associated with increased periprocedural complications in a contemporary series of patients undergoing anterior circulation PED placement. Titration of antiplatelet medications to P2Y12 >200 remains unindicated and may increase the risk of hemorrhagic complications.

Interaction between the stent strut and thrombus characterized by contrast-enhanced high-resolution cone beam CT during deployment of the Solitaire stent retriever
Conclusions CE-HRCBCT showed that the Solitaire stent retriever rarely expanded fully and the thrombus was mainly near to or outside the strut. It may not be necessary to wait a long time to allow the stent to expand fully into the thrombus because the main capture mechanism seems to be engagement of the clot between the crossings of the struts of the Solitaire.

O-012 Acute clot formation on the surface of flow diverters can be reduced by using phosphoryl-choline surface modification
Conclusion Our preliminary study supported our hypothesis that using phosphoryl-choline surface modified flow diverter can be useful to decrease the occurrence of micro-clot formation, especially post-angioplasty. O-035 Risk factors for delayed deterioration after cerebral venous thrombosis: a model to identify patients for early aggressive endovascular therapy
Conclusion We found that decreased mental status, seizure activity, papilledema, number of involved sinuses, sodium level, and platelet level to be the most important factors in predicting deterioration after CVT. E-082 Aggressive endovascular management of massive dural venous sinus thrombosis in the setting of acute myelogenous leukemia
Conclusion DVST is an uncommon cause of stroke. The appropriate diagnosis is imperative as the treatment for DVS is vastly different from the treatment of arterial stroke. Patients who suffer from DVST have a good prognosis and often achieve complete recovery. This case demonstrates the utility of more invasive endovascular treatments for extreme cases that fail to improve, or worsen, following a trial of conventional care.
