Viruses, Vol. 15, Pages 1235: Ischaemic Stroke Occurring in a Patient Treated with Monoclonal Antibodies for COVID-19
In conclusion, among several side effects that have been described during the treatment of COVID-19 with sotrovimab, ischaemic stroke was not reported. Therefore, we here report a rare case of ischaemic stroke with early clinical manifestation after the administration of sotrovimab for the treatment of moderate COVID-19 in an immunocompromised patient for the first time.

Transfusion thresholds for guiding red blood cell transfusion
CONCLUSIONS: Transfusion at a restrictive haemoglobin concentration decreased the proportion of people exposed to RBC transfusion by 41% across a broad range of clinical contexts. Progressive thrombosis of cervical and intracranial arteries related to Ponatinib treatment for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia
Ponatinib is a third-generation Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI), approved as first-line treatment for Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) chronic phase.Here we describe a CML patient with a history of subsequent TIAs and an ischemic stroke during Ponatinib treatment. Patient was admitted for a 3-day history of sudden onset left hemiparesis due to an acute ischemic stroke. MRI showed bilaterally the almost total absence of signal in the intracranial tract of anterior circulation and low signal of cerebral posterior circulation.

Acute Neurotoxicity during ALL Therapy Is Associated with Treatment Intensity, Age and Female Sex - an Analysis of SAE Reports from the UKALL 2003 Trial
Discussion:This large study identifies treatment intensity as the main risk factor for developing acute neurotoxicity with female sex, age and CNS status having a significant modifying effect. CNS status may reflect increased intrathecal therapy given to non-CNS-1 patients. Females are more vulnerable to cranial radiotherapy induced neurotoxicity but this is the first report of female sex as a risk factor on contemporary chemotherapy treatment protocols. Abstract 5267: Comorbidity and cause of death in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
Conclusions. Despite the advanced age at CLL diagnosis, the frequent presence of comorbidities, and the indolent nature of the disease, CLL progression is the ultimate cause of death in 51% of newly diagnosed CLL patients, with an additional 26% dying of causes potentially related to CLL, such as infections and second cancers.
