Study of Transesophageal Echocardiography in Young Patients with Cryptogenic Stroke: Prevalence of Patent Foramen Ovale and Interpretation of the RoPE Score

Causes of ischemic stroke in young adults versus non-young adults: A multicenter hospital-based observational study
CONCLUSIONS: Certain embolic sources and uncommon causes may be etiologically important causes of ischemic stroke in young adults.
