A higher probability of subsequent stroke and ischemic heart disease in migraine patients: a longitudinal follow-up study in Korea
ConclusionsOur longitudinal follow-up study demonstrated a significant association between the presence of migraine and the development of stroke and ischemic heart disease in Korea, even after adjusting for cardiovascular risk factors.

ConclusionIn the neurointerventional field, high BMI and prior use of antithrombotic agents were related to HTPR, and low BMI was associated with LTPR on prophylactic prasugrel. High hematocrit levels decreased the risk of HTPR. Association between population hypertension control and ischemic heart disease and stroke mortality in 36 countries of the Americas, 1990-2019: an ecological studyAssocia ção entre controle populacional da hipertensão e mortalidade por doença cardíaca isquêmica e acidente vascular cerebral em 36 países das Américas, 1990-2019: um estudo ecológico
CONCLUSION: There is a strong ecological negative association between IHD and stroke mortality and population hypertension control. Countries with the best performance in hypertension control showed better progress in reducing CVD mortality. Association between COVID-19 and incidence of cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality among patients with diabetes
ConclusionsThis study showed that patients with diabetes hospitalized due to COVID-19 had an increased risk of CVD, coronary heart disease, stroke incidence, and mortality than those who were not COVID-19 infected, suggesting more careful prevention and management among patients with COVID-19.
