ConclusionsNo apparent increased risk of bleeding complications was observed following administration of onabotulinumtoxinA to patients receiving antithrombotic therapy. Nonetheless, patient education and careful observation of the injection site in patients receiving antithrombotic therapy remains warranted.

Current Status and Time Trends of Oral Anticoagulation Use Among Chinese Patients With Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation: The Chinese Atrial Fibrillation Registry Study Clinical Sciences
Conclusions— An improvement of OAC use among Chinese patients with AF in Beijing is observed in recent years although only 36.5% of patients with CHA2DS2-VASc score ≥2 received OAC. However, variations between different hospitals were large, suggesting that better education and awareness are needed to improve efforts for stroke prevention among AF patients. Delay of Percutaneous Gastrostomy Tube (PEG) Placement in Patients with Ischemic Stroke in a Large Urban Hospital. (P1.063)
CONCLUSIONS: Our study shows that hypertension, use of AA agents and use of tPA puts stroke patients at risk of having a delay in PEG placement. Prior studies have shown that aspirin use is not associated with increased bleeding complications during PEG placement. Education can help avoid delay in PEG tube placement due to aspirin use. CONCLUSIONS: General knowledge about CVRF is still insufficient in the outpatient population, even when assessed in the cardiology or neurology clinic. Why Ischemic Stroke Patients Do Not Receive Thrombolytic Treatment? (P7.122)
CONCLUSIONS:This retrospective analysis suggests that less than half of the patients presenting within 4 hours of symptom onset receive rt-PA. The most common reason was minor or rapidly improving symptoms. A significant proportion of patients did not receive rt-PA because patient or family refused.
