Role of non- < em > Helicobacter pylori < /em > gastric Helicobacters in < em > helicobacter pylori < /em > -negative gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma
World J Gastroenterol. 2023 Aug 28;29(32):4851-4859. doi: 10.3748/wjg.v29.i32.4851.ABSTRACTMarginal zone lymphomas rank as the third most prevalent form of non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma, trailing behind diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and follicular lymphoma. Gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma (GML) is a low-grade B-cell neoplasia frequently correlated with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori)-induced chronic gastritis. On the other hand, a specific subset of individuals diagnosed with GML does not exhibit H. pylori infection. In contrast to its H. pylori-positive counterpart, it was previously believed that H. pylo...

Extracellular Vesicles from Stromal Vascular Fraction of Human Adipose Tissue in the Development of Non-antibiotic Therapy
CONCLUSION: Additionally, the underlying science that explains how the inflammatory process aids in the clearance of infections and the restoration of homeostasis after the host immune system successfully defends against foreign pathogens, as well as the fact that adipose-derived SVF is a noninvasive, cost-effective source of a variety of parent immune cells that produces a good yield of EVs with the same genetic make-up as their parent cells, make this concept worthwhile. This research may thereby increase survival rates and survival quality in cases of resistant infections. Vocabulary: Drug- and cell-free therapy = Nano ...

Influence of adhesion force on croRS gene expression and antibiotic resistance of Enterococcus faecalis
In this study, the hydrophobicity of poly-ethylene (PE) and stainless steel (SS) was characterized. Adhesion forces were measured using atomic force microscopy. The transcript levels of croRS in E. faecalis adhering to surfaces exerting different adhesion forces were compared, in presence and absence of cephalosporin. The ceftriaxone susceptibility of E. faecalis biofilms was investigated using colony forming units (CFU) counting. The water contact angles of PE and SS were 97.1 ± 0.3° and 33.5 ± 0.3°, respectively (p < .05). The adhesion force of E. faecalis on PE was 7.6 ± 1.0 nN, which was higher than that on SS ...
