Genomic Characterization of Endosymbiotic Bacteria Associated With < em > Helicoverpa armigera < /em > in Iran Using Next-Generation Sequencing
Bioinform Biol Insights. 2023 Aug 23;17:11779322231195457. doi: 10.1177/11779322231195457. eCollection 2023.ABSTRACTSeveral species of the Helicoverpa genus have been recognized as major agricultural pests from different regions of the world, among which Helicoverpa armigera species has been reported as the most destructive and cosmopolitan species in most regions of the world, including Iran. This pest is a polyphagous species and can cause damage to more than 120 plant species. Studying the internal microbiome of pests is very important in identifying species' weaknesses and natural enemies and potential biological contr...

Idiopathic omental hemorrhage: a case report and review of the literature
ConclusionPresence of positive focused assessment with sonography in trauma, abdominal pain, imaging evidence of fluid accumulation, and a reduction in hemoglobin levels collectively indicate the likelihood of arteriovenous malformation occurrence. The treatment options include surgical intervention and transcatheter arterial embolization. Surgical intervention is recommended for subjects with hemodynamic instability, persistent hypotension and those whose diagnosis is unconfirmed.

Sodium-Glucose Cotransporter-2 Inhibitors in Patients with Non-diabetic Chronic Kidney Disease: A Systematic Review
Iran J Kidney Dis. 2023 Jul;17(4):175-183.ABSTRACTSodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitors modulate kidney function in diabetic chronic kidney disease trials. Furthermore, recent studies have showed their effect on kidney dysfunction in non-diabetic chronic kidney disease (CKD). Here, we focus on the impact of SGLT2 inhibitors on some renal parameters in nondiabetic CKD by discussing completed and ongoing trials. Different databases and search engines of Web of Science, PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, SID, and Magiran were searched until November 2022. We included human studies that evaluated the effect of SGLT2 i...
