mHealth Apps Use and Their Associations With Healthcare Decision-Making and Health Communication Among Informal Caregivers: Evidence From the National Cancer Institute's Health Information National Trends Survey
CONCLUSION: Having mHealth apps was associated with a higher likelihood of using smart devices in healthcare decision-making and health communication by informal caregivers. Empowering caregivers to make informed health-related decisions and communicate effectively with healthcare providers are both crucial to health promotion and well-being. Future studies should investigate facilitators as well as barriers to using mHealth apps and smart devices in health-promoting strategies involving informal caregivers.PMID:37708496 | DOI:10.1177/08901171231202861

Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTAsylum seekers in Germany are exposed to a variety of health-related stressors, while their access to medical care is impaired. This review explains some of the determinants that structure this situation, for example by elaborating on how the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (ASBA), billing via treatment vouchers, and accommodation in refugee shelters affect asylum seekers' health and healthcare utilization. Hereby, it becomes clear that the exclusion of asylum seekers from the welfare syst...

Does who you live with matter for your health? The influence of partners' socioeconomic characteristics on self-rated health in Norway
CONCLUSIONS: Our findings suggest that health is affected by the resources (or lack thereof) in one's immediate networks. To reduce social inequalities in health, health personnel might customise interactions to account for household resources. Such knowledge could also be used in health-promoting activities to enhance participation and health competency.PMID:37705349 | DOI:10.1177/14034948231197453

The pharmacists were assessed using an interview questionnaire. The results showed...
