Homeopathy-A  lively relic of the prescientific era
This article summarizes the information about homeopathy and its problematic implications and serves as a general introduction to this topic and its unacceptable role in today's medicine. The medical irrelevance of the sham method of homeopathy has been proven with more than sufficient probability [2]. As a major testimonial, the statement "Homeopathic products and practices" of the European (EASAC 2017) can be regarded. Cross-sectional survey and Bayesian network model analysis of traditional Chinese medicine in Austria: investigating public awareness, usage determinants and perception of scientific support

However, a disparity exists between the commonly held public perception that TCM is scientific and findings from evidence-based studies. Emphasis should be placed on supporting the distribution of unbiased, science-driven information.

An uncommon cause of severe hypercalcemia: Vitamin D supplementation in Sarcoidosis.
A 37 year old male presented to the hospital with abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting of 2 days duration. Two months ago, he had a similar presentation and an elevated serum calcium level of 10.9 mg/dl. His hypercalcemia symptoms resolved after medical management, and he left the hospital against medical advice, refusing further workup for hypercalcemia. He went to a homeopathy provider and his blood work showed a low vitamin D level of 8 ng/ml. He was prescribed 50,000 units of weekly vitamin D 25 (OH) therapy for four weeks duration.

Against all odds-the persistent popularity of homeopathy.
Abstract The use of homeopathy is remarkably popular. Popularity, however, is not an arbiter in a scientific discourse. In fact, the assumptions underlying homeopathy violate fundamental laws of nature. Homeopathy does not have any explanatory power and fails other criteria established for a scientific approach. Two large-scale efforts have recently documented that in spite of a plethora of clinical trials there is no evidence that homeopathic remedies have any therapeutic effect, which goes beyond that of a placebo. Relaxed regulations and lack of scientific literacy and of health education allow for continuo...
