The Effect of Education Intervention on Osteoporotic Fracture and Bone Mineral Density in Elderly Women With Osteoporosis: A Randomized Controlled Trial
CONCLUSIONS: The personalized education intervention by endocrinologists can significantly increase the BMD of the greater trochanter of the femur and reduce pain scores in elderly women with osteoporosis, suggesting that this education intervention may serve as an important addition to standard anti-osteoporosis treatment.PMID:34936992

Clinical outcomes of Medical management options for chronic anal fissures in a long term follow up: systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions: Calcium channel blockers performed well regarding the healing of CAF when compared to others in long-term follow-up. The superiority of botulinum toxin was not evidenced compared to topical treatments. More studies are needed to better assess recurrence rates.

Prevalence of Arterial Stiffness and Associated Factors in Thai Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease and Kidney Transplant Recipients.
Conclusion: Arterial stiffness was markedly raised in all groups of CKD patients with an overall prevalence of 56%. The highest prevalence of arterial stiffness was found in ESRD patients treated with HD and CAPD. Pancreatitis and hyperparathyroidism: Still a rare association!
ConclusionThe data suggest an association between pancreatitis (both acute and chronic) and hypercalcemia due to PHPT. A high calcium value during AP or CP should always draw suspicion and warrants corresponding investigations in search of endocrine or malignant cause.
