Intralesional 5-fluorouracil as a management for cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas: A rural Australian retrospective case series
Australas J Dermatol. 2023 Sep 4. doi: 10.1111/ajd.14148. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTWhile the gold standard treatment for cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas (cSCCs) is surgical removal, there is a risk of infection, cosmetic and functional deficits. Intralesional 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) has been shown to be a potential non-surgical treatment modality for cSCCs in the literature. The aim was to investigate the safety and feasibility of using intralesional 5-FU to treat cSCCs. A literature review was conducted and a retrospective case series analysed patients who commenced intralesional 5-FU treatment for at least one cSCC...

A multi-country comparison of jurisdictions with and without mandatory nutrition labelling policies in restaurants: analysis of behaviours associated with menu labelling in the 2019 International Food Policy Study
CONCLUSIONS: Participants living in jurisdictions with mandatory nutrition information in restaurants were more likely to report noticing and using nutrition information, as well as greater efforts to modify their consumption. However, the magnitudes of these differences were relatively small.PMID:37661595 | DOI:10.1017/S1368980023001775
