Psychotherapeutic appointments given by Associations of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in 2019 : An analysis differentiated by appointment type and region
We examined how many appointments were requested and given in 2019, differentiated by appointment type and by city state versus areal state organizations.METHODS: The frequency of requests and appointments made in 2019 were collected from the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians organizations in Germany using a questionnaire. Health financing challenges in Southeast Asian countries for universal health coverage: a systematic review
ConclusionsThe challenges identified are diverse and therefore require a multifaceted approach. Regional collaborative efforts between countries will play an essential role in the progress towards UHC and in narrowing the inequity gap. Initial Cancer Treatment in Certified Versus Non-Certified Hospitals: Results of the WiZen Comparative Cohort Study
CONCLUSION: The WiZen study shows for the entities studied that initial cancer treatment in a certified center is associated with lower mortality. Despite the recommendations of the National Cancer Plan, however, more than 40% of all cancer patients still receive their initial treatment in a non-certified hospital. The preferential provision of initial care in certified hospitals would be likely to improve overall survival.
