The purpose of the present study was to establish relationships between sprint front crawl performance and a swimming load-velocity profile. Fourteen male national-level swimmers performed 50 m front crawl and semi-tethered swimming with three progressive loads. Increased Mobility of the Atrial Septum in Aortic Root Dilation: An Observational Study on Transesophageal Echocardiography

Phenylephrine-Induced Cardiovascular Changes in the Anesthetized Mouse: An Integrated Assessment of in vivo Hemodynamics Under Conditions of Controlled Heart Rate
ConclusionIn conclusion, this in vivo murine model is capable of distinguishing between changes in peripheral vascular and cardiac functions. This study underlines the primary effect of phenylephrine on vascular function with secondary changes to cardiac function. Sex-specific association between inflammation and endothelial function relevant gene and vulnerable carotid plaque
Conclusion: The rs4845625 polymorphism in IL6R has sex-specific effects on vulnerable carotid plaque in Chinese Han high-risk individuals for stroke. Our findings provide a plausible genetic basis underlying the sex difference in carotid plaque vulnerability.

Class of hemorrhagic shock is associated with progressive diastolic coronary flow reversal and diminished left ventricular function
Conclusion: With progressive classes of hemorrhagic shock left ventricular function progressively decreased, and the coronary arteries spent a greater proportion of diastole in retrograde flow, with progressively more negative total coronary flow. Preload recruitable stroke work, a load-independent measure of inotropy, also worsened in severe hemorrhagic shock, indicating the mechanism extends beyond the drop in preload and afterload alone.

Relationship between motor performance and cortical activity of older neurological disorder patients with dyskinesia using fNIRS: A systematic review
Conclusion: Most of the reviewed studies reported poor motor performance and increased cortical activation of PD, stroke and multiple sclerosis older patients. The external motor performance such as step speed were analyzed only. The design and results were not comprehensive and profound. More than 5 weeks walking training or physiotherapy can contribute to motor function promotion as well as cortices activation of PD and stroke patients. Training drills in high performance badminton —effects of interval duration on internal and external loads
Conclusion: Anaerobic metabolic stimulus increases while running distance and velocity decrease, in case of longer interval durations. Even though there was no impact on stroke precision, extending the intervals beyond 30 s might impair external training load and skill performance. Consequently, interval duration should be defined carefully depending on the training goals.

Is Aberrant Reno-Renal Reflex Control of Blood Pressure a Contributor to Chronic Intermittent Hypoxia-Induced Hypertension?
This study demonstrated unaltered vascular conductance in response to lumbar sympathetic stimulation in CIH-exposed rats. Aortic compliance was increased and estimated blood volume was unchanged in CIH-exposed rats. Increased blood pressure was related to an increase in cardiac output, which was confirmed by echocardiography (Lucking et al., 2014).
