Endovascular repair of aortic arch disease with double inner branched thoracic stent graft: the Bolton perspective.
CONCLUSIONS: Despite the small sample size, our results are in line with the early-published experiences about this technique. Endovascular repair of aortic arch disease with custom-made branched devices should always be considered to give high-risk patients a chance of repair. Endovascular Repair of Blunt Thoracic Aortic Trauma: Is Postimplant Hypertension an Incidental Finding?
Blunt thoracic aortic injury (BTAI) is the second most common cause of death in trauma patients. Nowadays, thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) has become the treatment of choice because of lower rates of mortality, paraplegia, and stroke. However, concerns have been raised whether graft implantation is related to the development of hypertension in the postoperative period. The aim of this study was to report short- and long-term outcomes of patients undergoing TEVAR for BTAIs at a tertiary hospital and to investigate postimplant hypertension.

Hybrid and total endovascular repair of the aortic arch.
CONCLUSION: Repair of aortic arch pathology presents a formidable challenge for endovascular technology. Open aortic arch repair remains the standard in younger, fitter patients, but endovascular technology and experience continue to evolve with encouraging early outcomes and expanding indications. Early outcomes of patients transferred with ruptured suprarenal aneurysm or dissection.
Conclusions Although the number of patients with rSRAD is low and those who are transferred alive are a self-selecting group, this study suggests that transfer of such patients to a specialist vascular centre is associated with acceptable mortality rates following emergency complex aortic repair. Thoracic aortic stentgraft implantations in Hungary from 2012 to 2016.
Abstract Thoracic aortic endograft implantation has become a widespread procedure in recent years, yet no report is available about Hungarian outcomes. Examination of our results is crucial to define further treatment strategies. Analysis of perioperative data from Hungarian thoracic endograft implantations based on the experience of 5 years is presented. Our retrospective, multicentric study analysed voluntarily reported data from all Hungarian institutions where thoracic endograft implantations are performed. Information was collected from every procedure performed in 5 years. Between 2012 and 2016, 131 thoracic...

The Impact of Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair on Long-Term Survival in Type B Aortic  Dissection
Conclusions The treatment of uncomplicated aTBAD with optimal medical therapy results in a high incidence of surgical intervention and poor long-term survival. At the index hospitalization, TEVAR may confer a survival advantage and serve as optimal therapy for complicated and uncomplicated aTBAD patients.

Endovascular treatment for ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm.
CONCLUSIONS: The conclusions of this review are currently limited by the paucity of data. We found from the data available moderate-quality evidence suggesting there is no difference in 30-day mortality between eEVAR and open repair. Not enough information was provided for complications for us to make a well-informed conclusion, although it is possible that eEVAR is associated with a reduction in bowel ischaemia. Long-term data were lacking for both survival and late complications. More high-quality randomised controlled trials comparing eEVAR and open repair for the treatment of RAAA are needed to better understand if one...

Aortic Remodeling After Endovascular Repair of Complicated Acute Type B Aortic  Dissection
Conclusions TEVAR for complicated aTBAD results in low 30-day and 1-year mortality rates, with higher reintervention rates than observed with open operations. TEVAR is effective in thrombosing and stabilizing the size of the thoracic FL. The abdominal aortic FL remains patent and must be carefully scrutinized for long-term aneurysm formation.

Combined brachial embolectomy and stent graft endovascular exclusion in the treatment of acute arm ischemia due to subclavian artery aneurysms thrombosis or distal embolization.
CONCLUSION: Endovascular repair is a less invasive alternative to open repair especially in high risk patients. long term results must still be confirmed in further studies. KEY WORDS: Arm ischemia, Endovascular treatment, Subclavian aneurysm. PMID: 27807319 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Branched Endovascular Therapy of the Distal Aortic  Arch: Preliminary Results of the Feasibility Multicenter Trial of the Gore Thoracic Branch Endoprosthesis
Conclusions Total endovascular repair of distal zone 2 arch aortic aneurysms can be achieved with a novel branched arch endograft. Future studies will evaluate the feasibility of this approach for aneurysms encompassing the brachiocephalic trunk and left carotid artery.

E-067 Endovascular Approach in the Repair of the Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm Including Those with Wide Neck and Complex in Morphology-A Case Series
ConclusionsEndovascular repair of the MCA aneurysm inclosing those with wide neck and complex are not only safe and feasible, but associated with high long-term functional outcome. Therefore, endovascular options must be offered to patients prior to surgical clipping of a MCA aneurysm. Further study may be warranted.DisclosuresY. Lodi: None. V. Reddy: None.
