Platelet function monitoring in elderly patients on prasugrel after stenting for an acute coronary syndrome: Design of the randomized antarctic study
Conclusion ANTARCTIC is a nationwide, prospective, open-label study testing a strategy of platelet function monitoring with dose and drug adjustment to reduce ischemic and bleeding complications in elderly ACS patients undergoing coronary stenting.

Bare-Metal vs. Drug-Eluting Stents in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.
Conclusions:In real-world patients with AF undergoing PCI, DES use was associated with outcomes comparable to those with BMS without excess bleeding complications. More ST was seen in BMS-treated patients.

Comparison of Hybrid Coronary Revascularization Versus Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting in Patients ≥65 Years With Multivessel Coronary Artery Disease

Impact of in‐hospital bleeding according to the bleeding academic research consortium classification on the long‐term adverse outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention
Conclusions: In‐hospital bleeding events according to the newly proposed BARC definition were significantly associated with an increased risk of adverse long‐term events in patients undergoing PCI with drug‐eluting stents. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
