Diabetes Mellitus as a Risk Factor for Development of Depressive Symptoms in a Population‐Based Cohort of Older Mexican Americans
ConclusionDiabetes mellitus increased the risk of developing depressive symptoms in older Mexican Americans. Older Latinos with diabetes mellitus should be screened for depressive symptoms and prioritized for close follow‐up, potentially through greater reliance on team‐based models of care.

Multimorbidity Combinations and Disability in Older Adults
Conclusions: Clinicians stand to gain from a better understanding of which disease combinations are more and less disabling among older adults. Understanding how multimorbidity combinations relate to functional status is an important step towards reducing disability and sustaining independent living among older adults.

The relationship between social functioning and subjective memory complaints in older persons: a population ‐based longitudinal cohort study
ConclusionsGood social functioning is associated with less incident SMC and more SMC recovery over a follow‐up period of 1.5 years. Albeit future confirmative studies are needed, we argue for targeting also social functioning when designing multidomain interventions to prevent or slow down cognitive decline. Cerebral Amyloid Deposition Is Associated with Gait Parameters in the Mayo Clinic Study of Aging
ConclusionPiB‐PET SUVR across ROIs, independent of general measures of AD‐associated neurodegeneration, is associated with poorer performance on multiple gait parameters among cognitively normal women, aged 50 to 69 years. Longitudinal studies are needed to determine whether Aβ predicts gait decline in both women and men.

Risk Factors Associated With Cognitive, Functional, and Behavioral Trajectories of Newly Diagnosed Dementia Patients
Conclusions: Sociodemographic characteristics and clinical comorbidities predict cognitive and functional changes. Only cognitive status explains behavioral decline. Results provide an understanding of the characteristics that impact cognitive, functional, and behavioral decline.

Risk factors for low back pain and sciatica in elderly men—the MrOS Sweden study
Conclusions</div>in older men with LBP and SCI, anatomical abnormalities such as vertebral fractures, metastases, central or lateral spinal stenosis or degenerative conditions may only in part explain prevalent symptoms and disability. Social and lifestyle factors must also be evaluated since they are associated not only with unspecific LBP but also with LBP with SCI.</span>
