The impact of non-caloric artificial sweetener aspartame on female reproductive system in mice model
CONCLUSION: Non-nutritive artificial sweeteners including aspartame negatively impact the function of ovaries and feedback mechanism of reproductive hormones by affecting the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. In light of present findings the aspartame negatively impacted the reproductive system of female mice. More studies are required to identify the molecular mechanism and the pathways involved.PMID:37580716 | DOI:10.1186/s12958-023-01115-4

In conclusion, here, we demonstrate a novel mechanism for ESC-EVs to protect cells from senescence. However, whether ESC-EVs rejuvenate aged mice via miR-15b-5p and miR-290a-5p remains unknown. Next, we plan to use miR-15b-5p and miR-290a-5p antagonists while treating aged mice with ESC-EVs to further investigate the mechanism by which ESC-EVs resist aging in vivo. « Back to Top Fatty Acid Metabolism as a Commonality in Different Approaches to Slowing Aging https://www.fightaging.org/archives/2023/08/fatty-acid-metabolism-as-a-commonality-in-different-approaches-to-slowing-aging/ It seems...

Conclusions Implanted Hair Follicle Cells Produce Remodeling of Scar Tissue Assessment of Somatic Mosaicism as a Biomarker of Aging The Gut Microbiome of Centenarians https://www.fightaging.org/archives/2023/01/the-gut-microbiome-of-centenarians/ The state of the gut microbiome is arguably as influential on health as exercise. Various microbial species present in the gut produce beneficial metabolites, such as butyrate, or harmful metabolites, such as isoamylamine, or can provoke chronic inflammation in a variety of ways. An individual can have a better or worse microbiome, assessing these and other fu...

Impact of patient counseling on treatment adherence behavior and quality of life in maintenance hemodialysis patients
In this study, we assessed the donor age in living donors-recipients as well as the exploration of their hormonal profile. This is a single-center follow-up study over a period of 3 years, including 90 kidney recipients transplanted by living donors. We performed blood measurements of parathyroid hormone, prolactin, follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, testosterone, estradiol, blood glucose, urea, creatinine, total cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein-cholesterol, uric acid, albumin, and 24-h proteinuria. Glomerular filtration rate, body mass index, and low-density cholesterol were calculated....
