CONCLUSION: These findings document a relationship between regional deprivation and the occurrence of acute ischemic stroke. Measuring Patient Safety Climate in Acute Stroke Therapy
Conclusion: The SAQ is a helpful and well-applicable tool to measure patient safety in acute stroke care. Managing uncertainty: Physicians' decision-making for stroke prevention for patients with atrial fibrillation and intracerebral haemorrhage
Conclusion Physicians described the process of deciding on stroke prevention in patients with AF post-ICH as 'challenging' due to considerable 'clinical equipoise'. Key factors that affected decision-making was patient comorbidities, functional status, and patient willingness to engage with oral anticoagulation therapy. Ischemic Stroke –A Scientometric Analysis
ConclusionsResearch in ischemic stroke has substantially increased over time. Scientists from the USA have the highest number of publications, followed by China and Germany. Measured by the H-index, the USA held the highest publication quality, followed by Germany and the UK. The scientific landscape was male-dominated with 67.7% of all first authors being male. Worldwide international collaborations play a major role in ischemic stroke research.

Time-to-care metrics in patients with interhospital transfer for mechanical thrombectomy in north-east Germany: Primary telestroke centers in rural areas vs. primary stroke centers in a metropolitan area
ConclusionDespite considerable differences in the setting of stroke treatment in rural and metropolitan areas, overall time-to-care metrics were similar. Targets of process improvement should be door-to-needle times in RTCs, transfer organization, and door-to-groin times in CSCs wherever such process times are above best-practice models.

Thrombectomy of Mild Stroke
ConclusionThe FO in patients with mild stroke undergoing MT was associated with successful recanalization. No significant differences between patients with FO and UO were found for MT-related adverse events, suggesting that MT complications have no significant effects on the outcome of these patients. MT might improve the prognosis also in patients with mild stroke based on distal vessel occlusions without significantly increasing the risk of adverse events.

Combining specific task-oriented training with manual therapy to improve balance and mobility in patients after stroke: a mixed methods pilot randomised controlled trial
