The importance of the abdominal X-radiograph is acute ulcerative colitis
Answers From questions on page 188 Figure 1 shows large bowel dilatation. Figure 2 demonstrates worsening colonic dilatation, despite aggressive medical management, consistent with toxic megacolon extending proximally to the caecum. In keeping with an acute flare of inflammatory bowel disease mucosal thickening and loss of haustral folds is also present. Staged surgical management of idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss refractory to medical treatment
Orv Hetil. A kórkép műtéti kezelése a dobüreg feltárását követően a belső f...

High daily doses of trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole are an independent risk factor for adverse reactions in patients with pneumocystis pneumonia and AIDS
Conclusion We found a high incidence of ADRs among patients with PJP and AIDS treated with TMP/SMX, and most involved the skin and liver. A daily dose of ≥ 16 mg/kg of TMP/SMX and age 34 years were independent risk factors for ADRs.
