Evaluation of the use of e-learning in training management of asthma and COPD in general medicine
The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of a platform for e-learning in continuing medical education and to analyze the difficulties of access and limitations of its use by doctors. This is a prospective, descriptive analytic survey. It involved 52 General practitioners in 8 polyclinics Constantine.Of the 52 doctors registered on the platform, only 29 (55.8%) were used. These are mainly young doctors with strong correlation between age and number of connections. Learning Through Listening: A Scoping Review of Podcast Use in Medical Education
Conclusions Future research should focus on the optimal structure of podcasts for learning, higher-level outcomes of podcasts, and the implementation of podcasts into formal curricula. Podcasts may prove to be essential tools for disseminating and implementing the most current, evidence-based practices.

The need for a comprehensive medication safety module in medical education
Conclusion: The relatively poor knowledge and improvement with a specific educational module emphasizes the need of such a module within the medical curriculum to encourage safe use of medicines by Indian Medical Graduates (IMG). It is hoped that the policy makers in medical education will introduce such a module within the medical curriculum. Key message: Students have a relatively poor knowledge of medication safety issues. There is a need for specific learning modules in the area of medication safety within the medical curriculum and also in continuing medical education programs.

Scholarly concentration programs and medical student research productivity: a  systematic review
DiscussionWhile few in number and often lacking in rigour, the studies included herein suggest that adequate administrative support, strong mentorship and tailored program characteristics are essential in facilitating student research productivity in scholarly concentration programs. Given the challenges inherent in medical education research, a  conceptual framework based on United Way’s approach may help program planners and educators address this gap in the evaluation of scholarly concentration programs.
