The necessity for integrating traditional, complementary, and alternative medicine into medical education curricula in Iran
ConclusionTraditional medicine is part of Iran’s heritage and, thus, needs special attention. Familiarization of physicians with T&CM can help them choose the best treatment options for their patients. To integrate T&CM into the medical education curricula of Iran, a two-credit course has been proposed for implementation across the country.

General Practitioners' Knowledge and Clinical Practice in Management of People with Type 2 Diabetes in Iran; The Impact of Continuous Medical Education Programs.
CONCLUSION: The results of this study provide the evidence that the knowledge and clinical practice of Iranian GPs in management of type 2 diabetes were not satisfactory. Furthermore, traditional CME programs in diabetes management were not effective in changing the GPs' clinical practice.
