Functional outcomes among stroke patients in Alagoas, Brazil: observational study
CONCLUSION: We found a FD rate four times greater than in another Brazilian study. Lower stroke severity and fewer depressive symptoms were associated with achieving functional independence. The Relationship between Strength of the Affected Leg and Walking Speed after Stroke Varies According to the Level of Walking Disability: A Systematic Review
CONCLUSION: After stroke, there is a strong relationship between strength of the affected leg and walking speed, with little variability across individual muscle groups. However, the level of walking disability of people with stroke does make a difference such that the more disabled people are, the stronger the relationship is between strength of the affected leg and walking speed.IMPACT: This study suggests that the strength of all muscles of the affected leg is important for walking after stroke. Explicit versus implicit lower extremity sensory retraining for post-stroke chronic sensory deficits: a randomized controlled trial

Sex Differences in Functional Capacity in Older Adults with Stroke: an Analysis of Data from the National Health and Aging Trends Study
CONCLUSION: Older women with stroke have clinically meaningfully lower overall functional capacity as compared with older men but decline at a similar rate over time. Does outcome of neuropsychological treatment in patients with unilateral spatial neglect after stroke affect functional outcome?
CONCLUSIONS: The outcome of the whole rehabilitation resulted affected by the outcome of neuropsychological treatment in patients with USN, being a low score at Barrage test at the beginning of therapy a negative predictor of USN recovery. CLINICAL REHABILITATION IMPACT: Patients with USN after stroke can benefit of a specific training for reducing USN also in terms of functional outcome. Effect of myofeedback on the threshold of the stretch reflex response of post-stroke spastic patients.
Conclusion The myofeedback training provided a significant contribution to conventional treatment, allowing for a better improvement of the spastic condition. Implications for rehabilitation Biofeedback is an effective means of improving motor control of post-stroke spastic patients. The Tonic Stretch Reflex Threshold is a more sensitive quantitative measure to assess upper-limb post-stroke spasticity.
