Late-onset fabry disease due to the p.Phe113Leu variant: the first italian cluster of five families
ConclusionThis study demonstrates that a cluster of subjects with p.Phe113Leu pathogenic variant is also present in Southern Italy. Disease manifestations are frequent in both sexes and may occur early in life. Cardiac involvement represents the core manifestation, but neurological and renal involvement is also frequent, suggesting that extra-cardiac complications deserve clinical attention.

The effect of robot-assisted walking in different modalities on cardiorespiratory responses and energy consumption in patients with subacute stroke
DISCUSSION: By decreasing GF and BWS values during robot-assisted walking, adequate cardio-metabolic and energy response in both subacute stroke patients and healthy individuals could be achieved. Cardiovascular comorbidities in psoriatic arthritis: epidemiology and risk factors in two different European populations
CONCLUSIONS: The prevalence of AH, T2D and CV diseases were higher in Italian patients rather than Belgians. Moreover, among patients with PsA, the risk of AH was higher in the Italian cohort compared to the Belgian cohort. Current territorial organization for access to revascularization therapies for acute ischemic stroke in the Veneto region (Italy) from 2017 to 2021
ConclusionsTreatment target rates of IVT and MT set by Action Plan for Stroke in Europe 2018 –2030 has been globally exceeded in the Veneto region. However, the target rate of MT and access revascularization treatments is heterogeneous among different macro-areas. Further efforts should be made to homogenize the current territorial organization.

Correlates of participation six months after stroke in an Italian population: results from the RIPS (Post-Stroke Intensive Rehabilitation) Study
CONCLUSIONS: In our cohort of patients addressing postacute stroke rehabilitation, prestroke participation levels were on average good, while they were severely reduced six months after stroke for all the considered items except reading and making trips.
