Perioperative stroke and myocardial infarction in urologic surgery
CONCLUSIONS: Perioperative stroke and myocardial infarction were confirmed to be uncommon but devastating complications of urologic surgery, with incidence of 0.14% and 0.36%, respectively. Cystectomy was the highest risk urologic procedure. Perioperative stroke and myocardial infarction were strongly associated with age ≥ 70, hypertension, and disseminated cancer.PMID:34129461

Abstract Epidemiological evidence linking aluminum in drinking water and Alzheimer's disease (AD) has been inconsistent, with previous studies often limited by small sample sizes. The present study addresses this issue using data from the Canadian Study of Health and Aging (CSHA), a prospective cohort of 10,263 subjects followed-up from 1991-1992 through 2001-2002. Forecasting the association of air quality and health outcomes in Ontario
Conclusions: Positive correlations between AQHI and health outcomes are found in this study which revealed that making the public aware of air pollution using AQHI may be helpful to reduce the impact of air pollution in people living with chronic diseases.
