The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has had a comprehensive impact on healthcare services worldwide. We sought to determine whether COVID-19 affected the treatment and prognosis of hemorrhagic stroke in a regional medical center in mainland China.

Acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke in two covid-19 patients.
We report two cases with coincident presentation of COVID-19 and cerebrovascular accident. Further studies are needed for a comprehensive understanding of the neurological pathology of COVID-19 and its effects on the nervous system, but stroke teams should be wary of the fact that COVID-19 patients can present with cerebrovascular accidents. ConclusionAlthough relatively uncommon among COVID-19 patients, ICH is associated with a high mortality rate. Early identification of patients at risk of developing ICH, particularly with comorbid conditions and on anticoagulant therapy, may be important to improve outcomes.
