Effect of standardized nursing cooperation on intravenous thrombolysis with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator in acute ischemic stroke
CONCLUSION: The standardized nursing cooperation for AIS patients with rt-PA intravenous thrombolysis is beneficial for effectively reducing the treatment delay and the incidence of complications, and improving the neurological function and satisfaction of nursing care, and as such it which is worthy of clinical promotion.PMID:34786123 | PMC:PMC8581870

Study on the Baseline Factors and Platelet Indices That Predict Outcome of Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients after Thrombolytic Therapy
Conclusions: Overall, lower NIHSS and MPV levels on admission were predictors of good functional outcomes in patients with AIS after undergoing thrombolytic therapy. The correlations between MPV, PDW, and PLR may be helpful to evaluate prognosis in stroke patients and deserve further exploration.Cerebrovasc Dis

Management of Dyslipidaemia for the Prevention of Stroke: Clinical Practice Recommendations from the Lipid Association of India
Curr Vasc Pharmacol. 2021 Nov 9. doi: 10.2174/1570161119666211109122231. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTStroke is the second most common cause of death worldwide. The rates of stroke are increasing in less affluent countries predominantly because of a high prevalence of modifiable risk factors. The Lipid Association of India (LAI) has provided a risk stratification algorithm for patients with ischaemic stroke and recommended low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) goals for those in a very high risk group and extreme risk group (category A) of <50 mg/dl (1.3 mmol/l) while the LDL-C goal for extreme risk group (catego...

Practice of integrated treatment process for acute ischaemic stroke in hospital coordinated by emergency stroke nurses
AbstractAimsTo explore the practice effect of establishing an integrated treatment process by stroke emergency nurses in general hospitals for acute ischaemic stroke (AIS).DesignCompared the time spent in each link before and after the establishment of AIS integrated treatment.MethodsSince March 2016, we set up a team of emergency stroke nurses (ESN), trained and assessed the knowledge of emergency stroke, and set up a post of ESN.ResultsThe median time of admission-judgement, admission-establishment of venous access, admission-cranial CT examination and admission-intravenous thrombolytic therapy was statistically signific...

Different Scores Predict the Value of Hemorrhagic Transformation after Intravenous Thrombolysis in Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke
CONCLUSION: The lower the ASPECTS score and the higher the DRAGON, SEDAN, and HAT scores, the higher the incidence of HT in AIS patients. The patient's age, atrial fibrillation, baseline NIHSS score, early signs of infarction on admission with head CT, time from onset to thrombolytic therapy, and thrombolytic drugs are all independent factors affecting HT in AIS patients. The scores of ASPECTS, DRAGON, SEDAN and HAT have certain value in predicting HT after intravenous thrombolysis in AIS patients, and the predicted value of ASPECTS score is the best.PMID:34721622 | PMC:PMC8553431 | DOI:10.1155/2021/2468052

Predictive Value of Apelin and Vaspin on Hemorrhagic Transformation in Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke after Intravenous Thrombolysis and Analysis of Related Factors
CONCLUSION: Apelin and Vaspin can help effectively forecast the occurrence of HT in CIS patients after ITT as independent protective factors of HT, so they are of a high clinical application value.PMID:34707670 | PMC:PMC8545532 | DOI:10.1155/2021/5020622
