Alpha ‐enolase 1 knockdown facilitates the proliferation and invasion of villous trophoblasts by upregulating COX‐2
ConclusionENO1 may participate in the development of RM via suppressing the growth and invasion of villous trophoblasts via reducing the expression of COX-2, c-Myc, and cyclin D1.

USP7 prevents recurrent spontaneous abortion by targeting EZH2 to regulate trophoblast proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion through the Wnt/ β-catenin pathway†
In this study, we analyzed the expression of USP7 in villous tissues obtained from RSA patients and healthy controls, and then GNE-6776 (a USP7-specific inhibitor) and USP7 siRNA were used in a trophoblast cell line, HTR-8/SVneo, to further assess the effect of USP7 on the biological function of trophoblasts. Our results provide convincing evidence that USP7 is downregulated in the placental villous tissues of RSA patients. USP7 was found to have a crucial role in the proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) process of trophoblast cells. Further experiments revealed that USP...

Estrogen-sensitive activation of SGK1 induces M2 macrophages with anti-inflammatory properties and a Th2 response at the maternal-fetal interface
CONCLUSION: Our findings highlighted the immunomodulatory roles of E2-activated SGK1 in Th2 immune responses by priming anti-inflammatory M2 macrophages at the maternal-fetal interface, resulting in a balanced immune microenvironment during pregnancy. Our results suggest new perspectives on future preventative strategies for RPL.PMID:37226177 | DOI:10.1186/s12958-023-01102-9

Grim-19 deficiency promotes decidual macrophage autophagy in recurrent spontaneous abortion
In this study, we found that the expression of Grim-19 was decreased, and the expression of autophagy related proteins Beclin1, LC3B II/I and BNIP3 was markedly upregulated in decidual macrophages of RSA patients compared with the normal pregnancy group. Furthermore, we demonstrated that downregulation of GRIM-19 increased the expression of autophagy related proteins Beclin1, LC3B II/I, BNIP3 and the proinflammatory cytokines IL1B, IL6 and TNFa in uterine mononuclear cells of GRIM-19+/- mice. The proportion of CD45+CD11b+F4/80+LC3B+ cells in GRIM-19+/- mouse uteri was significantly higher than that in WT mouse uteri. In ad...

Conclusion: These assays are suitable for routine diagnostic. The UltraFast NextGenPCR is the fastest with average time (30mins), followed by Agilent (2 hrs) and MassArray (6hrs). Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to examine, measure and compare results from different assays for SARS detection, evaluate and diagnose accurately, as well as being able to plan, organize and recommend a diagnostic procedure for diagnostic laboratory. Key words: SARS-CoV-2, RNA extraction, RT-PCR, limit of detection, quantification cycle, COVID-19, in vitro diagnostic tests, Agilent, Massarray, Ultrafast. [20] From t...
