An Educational Intervention for Neurology Residents on Post-Residency/Fellowship Practice (P2.364)
Conclusions: These pilot data support previous findings that most residents do not receive adequate counseling about post-graduation medical practice and financial issues. Additionally, pre- and post-intervention surveys suggest that programs aimed specifically at medical practice and finance post-residency/fellowship may evoke positive changes in behavior while addressing several ACGME core competencies.
