O-040 Initial clinical experience with the bendit steerable articulating tip microcatheter for intracranial access and intervention
ConclusionsInitial clinical experience with the controlled articulation that permits flexion at the tip of the microcatheter demonstrated it to be safe. Access to difficult proximal origin curves, and distal clinoidal/ophthalmic segment anatomy may be improved due to the high torque transmission, and acute angulation of this microcatheter. CONCLUSIONS: This Sixth Pedimacs Report demonstrates the continued evolution of the pediatric field. The complexity of cardiac physiologies and anatomical constraint mandates the need for multiple types of devices utilized (PC, PP, IC). Radiographic risk factors for intracranial hemorrhage in patients with left ventricular assist devices
Patients with end-stage cardiomyopathy may require the use of mechanical circulatory support to maintain perfusion of the vital organs. This is most commonly achieved using an implantable left ventricular assist device (LVAD), typically used as a bridge to orthotopic heart transplant (BTT) or as destination therapy (DT) for those who are not transplant candidates. An LVAD is usually considered for those patients whose disease and symptoms meet INTERMACS Levels 2-4 criteria, indicating a significant decrease in functionality.

Characteristics and long ‐term survival of patients with left ventricular non‐compaction cardiomyopathy
ConclusionsOur study questions the criteria being used for the diagnosis of LVNC. Further evaluation of CMR variables and association of these findings with demographic variables and survival is mandatory.

Transapical Ventricular Remodeling for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy with Systolic Cavity Obliteration
