Deuterium Magnetic Resonance Imaging Using Deuterated Water-Induced 2H-Tissue Labeling Allows Monitoring Cancer Treatment at Clinical Field Strength
CONCLUSIONS: Deuterium MRI at 1.5T proved feasibility to track 2H distribution throughout mouse tissues during D2O administration and revealed a higher 2H accumulation in the tumor xenografts. Long-term follow-up results of multiparametric prostate MRI and the prognostic value of PI-RADS: a single-center retrospective cohort study
CONCLUSION: The PI-RADS category has a significant impact on patient management and provides important diagnostic and prognostic information. Higher initial PI-RADS categories are associated with decreased follow-up losses, a shorter time to PCa diagnosis, increased biopsy rates, a higher likelihood of developing cs-PCa during follow-up, and a worse PCa prognosis. Combining mPSAD with PI-RADS categories could enhance diagnostic stratification in the identification of cs-PCa.PMID:37724756 | DOI:10.4274/dir.2023.232414

mpMRI-targeted biopsy of the prostate in men ≥ 75 years. 7-year report from a high-volume referral center
CONCLUSION: After evaluation of a large patient cohort, we show that age≥75 years represents a significant risk factor for the detection of clinically significant prostate cancer. In conclusion, SV cranial displacement was influenced by HS lateral distribution of ≥1.00 cm in the upper two slices.
