33126 Sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy (Rosai Dorfman disease): A case report
A 57-year-old woman presented to the dermatology clinic complaining of a painful plaque on her left upper arm. She states that she first noticed a small “bug bite” on her arm about 3 months prior to presentation in clinic. Since that time, the lesion has grown significantly, and several smaller papulonodules have arisen around the site of the larger plaque. There is also a similar nodule on her left anterior thigh. She describes the lesions as b urning, itching, and painful. The patient was otherwise healthy and denied other symptoms since the onset of the lesion on her arm.
