This presentation aims to: 1) review how, as new ways of understanding processes within the child have developed, a range of psychotherapies have supported how we see and understand children as individuals and in context; and 2) specifically, review progress in DBT, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy, play therapy, and family therapy during the last century. Exploring termination setback in a psychodynamic therapy for panic disorder.
Conclusions: This study provides evidence of a TS in PDT. Resurgence of symptoms as termination approached was more common in PFPP than in PCT. Studies involving weekly assessment of primary and comorbid symptoms, as well as qualitative analyses of the patient experiences of the therapeutic process during termination, in different forms of PDT, are warranted. However, it is a very heterogeneous disorder with subgroups of patients with mild symptoms and others with severe and complex impairments. Patients suffering from complex ADHD are usually characterized by multiple developmental disorders and impaired personality development. Due to the multimodal origin of the disorder, multimodal treatment approaches aimed at reducing the various deficits are usually indicated. The...
