TheSociety for Endocrinology Competency Framework for Adult Endocrine Nursing was first developed in 2013 by our amazing dedicated nurse members. The Framework is designed to enhance the clinical care received by adults with an endocrine disorder and the professional development of the endocrine nurses helping them. (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) Children born to mothers with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) are at greater risk of a wide range of psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders, according to new research published in Human Reproduction. The study is the first to show links between PCOS and such a wide range of disorders, which include emotional and behavioural problems, delayed development, learning, speech and language problems, autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
