InTBIR started as a memorandum of understanding between the European Commission, Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke to promote international standardization and collaboration between large natural history and longitudinal clinical studies and trials in TBI.
